Dourif portrays the chief counselor of Theoden,
King of the Mark.Brad Dourif received a British Oscar (BAFTA)
for Best Supporting Actor, a Golden Globe Award for Best
Newcomer, and an Academy Award nomination for his performance
in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. For Common Bonds, Dourif
was nominated for a Genie Award (Best Actor) and for his
performance in Body Parts, he garnered the Fangoria Chainsaw
Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Dourif has over 40 film credits to his name including Ragtime,
Dune, Blue Velvet, Mississippi Burning, Child's Play 1,
2 & 3 (voice of Chucky), The Exorcist, Hidden Agenda,
Common Bonds, Scream of Stone, Body Parts, Jungle Fever,
Senseless, Bride of Chucky, Brown's Requim, Urban Legend,
and The Ascent.
Dourif has also had a successful television career having
appeared on the series The X-Files, Tales from the Crypt,
Wild Palms, Tales of the Unexpected, amongst others.
Dourif a founding member of the Circle Repertory Theatre,
New York, spent three years under the direction of Marshall
Manson, Lanford Wilson, and Sandford Meisner.
